Background
Karin completed her undergraduate degree in vocal studies and pedagogy at the University of Lethbridge under the direction of Professor Patrice Jegou. Her performance experiences are across Alberta, the Mid-Western United States and Mexico, as both part of the ensemble and as a solo performer. She has participated in master-classes and music conferences across Alberta. She is also an active teacher with a studio out of Music for Life - Yamaha Music School in London, Ontario. Her students have received high honours awards in competitions. Several students have successfully auditioned into undergraduate programs across Canada.
Lessons focus on building the voice through systematic technique suitable to assigned literature, building the voice to its fullest potential in power and beauty: unaided or amplified, concentrating on communication, interpretation, and musicianship as technical progress allows, and having fun.

Qualifications
Undergraduate: Bachelors degree achieved 2004 in vocal pedagogy and performance From the University of Lethbridge.
Masters in Vocal Performance and Literature from University of Western Ontario. (In progress)
Students awarded top marks in competitions and festivals. Students have successfully auditioned to undergraduate programs across Canada.
